Election Rules for Cities and Villages in Russia

Although the Mayor of a town or village has freedom to govern as he or she feels is fit, the election process is regulated by a greater authority to ensure fairness for all citizens of the land.

2025 UPDATE: the election process is now managed by the KING / WARLORD / FACTION that controls the area to which the city is contained within.

📌 Elections are to recall the current Mayor is a process that is regulated by the ruling faction of the area.

📌 Registered home owners or businesses are required to have a placard on their home or business with their name on it and placed by the Mayor or approved city employee as their proof of residence.

📌 Only one registered resident name or owner to a business, home, or apartment may be registered. Others may dwell there or share the business, but only one of them is considered the primary owner and eligible to vote.

📌 The election must be moderated by a government official from another township or federal office.

📌 The departing mayor must assist in the transition process for the new Mayor or the departing mayor may be barred from ever holding office again.
